Instructions for A Poinsettia Christmas Card

  • Fold card base along score line. Stick the Mossy Meadow and Designer Series Paper layer in place.
  • Die cut a frame from the Soft Suede cardstock using the stitched rectangle dies. Stick that on the card front at an angle.
  • Die cut 1 large, 2 medium and 2 small of the layering poinsettia dies in Merry Merlot. Cut 1 large in Mossy Meadow. Die cut 2 small poinsettias in Merry Merlot and a large and small leaf in Mossy Meadow. Using Early Espresso card. die cut 3 foliage pieces and cut 2 embossed centres from Bumblebee.
The poinsettia die cuts are layered up to form this arrangement around a frame, using Stampin' Up products.
  • Build the poinsettias up and then arrange onto the card front adding dimensionals for the larger blooms .
  • Stamp the greeting onto Soft Suede card using Early Espresso ink and die cut the label.
  • Attach the label to the card front, sticking a bow of gold trim behind it.
  • Add some Gilded Gems.
  • Stamp some foliage onto the Basic White mat and stick inside the card.
