I have called this fun fancy fold a pop out flap card.

This hop is open to demonstrators around the world and is focused each month on fun folds and fancy folds.
This month I have chosen to create a Pop Out Flap Card
A Pop Out Flap Card

I got my inspiration for this card from a crafter called Srushti Patil. This design makes a fun little card, but Srushti also uses hers as pop out features on scrapbook pages.
To create the card I have used the Fruit Salad Sale-a-Bration papers. These zesty papers have lots of images that you can cut out as well as bright and fun background designs.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.
Making the Card.

The measurements for the Early Espresso card stock are:
- Card base: 28cm x 10cm / 10″ x 4″ – score at 4cm, 13cm, 22cm / 1 1/2″, 5″, 8 1/2″
- For the 6 mechanism pieces – 3 pieces 7cm square / 2 3/4″
- For the 6 pop up panels – 6 pieces 7cm x 4.8cm / 2 3/4″ x 2 “
For the patterned paper mats you will need:
- 2 pieces 9.5cm x 3.5cm / 3 3/4″ x 1 1/4″
- 4 pieces 8.5cm x 9.5cm / 3 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ (2 inside, 2 out)
- 8 pieces 76.5cm x 4.3cm / 2 1/22 x 1 3/4″
The panel on the front was created with the To the Point label and the Hugs For love stamp set. The sentiment and border were heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Fussy cut images have been used to decorate the panels and the front and back of the card.

All the panels are folded in as the card is folded up.
A length of ribbon has been secured around the card and is used to tie the card closed.
Card Back

To create a panel to write your greeting on, I added a mat of Pumpkin Pie and Basic White card to the back of the card. These measured 8.5cm x 7.5cm / 3 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ and 8cm x 7cm / 3″ x 2 1/2″.
