I have created a simple, but beautiful welcome card to celebrate the start of something new. The Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop

The Tech 4 Stampers Academy is a community of people who work together, led and inspired by Louise, to create and maintain our WordPress Websites and to make better use of technology in our businesses.

We are delighted to be coming together to put on this Blog Hop. Some of us are old hands at hopping, but as others develop their websites, this will be their first experience and that is exciting for us all.

It also means that you will get to see fresh faces and new ideas. So we welcome you with our welcome cards.

A Simple But Beautiful Welcome Card

Instructions

  • Fold card base along score line.
  • Stamp the greeting onto some Petal Pink card with Calypso Coral ink and punch out with the Label Me Fancy Punch. Using the punch, create the 2 slots for the ribbon. Cut a piece of Gold Foil 5.5cm x 3.5cm (2 1/8″ x 1 3/8″) to sit behind the label.
  • Make sure you have removed the protective film from the back of your acetate. If you struggle to do this, take a small piece of adhesive tape, stick to the corner of the film and lift.
  • Thread a piece of ribbon through the slots on the ribbon, but don’t stick them down yet. Attach the punched label to the rectangle of gold foil with dimensionals. Stick the Gold Foil to the Acetate panel. You can now add some adhesive to the reverse of the acetate panel, behind the gold foil and stick to the DSP. Once this is all in place, you wrap the ends of the ribbon around the Acetate and DSP and stick to the reverse with tape.
  • Attach a Gold Foil strip to the top and bottom edges of your panel, before sticking the entire thing to your card base.
  • To finish your card, fussy cut a flower from the DSP to add to the label. Tie a knot around the band of ribbon with another short piece of ribbon. Finally add some Gilded Gems.
