Each month, the team that brings you the Creative Stampers Tutorial Bundle also brings you these blog posts to give you a flavour of this month’s projects. A Touch of Ink Project
I created this card using the same “Touch of Ink” Sale-a-Bration stamp set that I used in my tutorial project. Using Black memento ink, I stamped the leaves and blossom images several times on a 11.5cm square piece of white card to create the effect of a tree or bush. The hummingbird was positioned to look as if he was visiting the flower for lunch.
The picture was then coloured with a variety of Stampin’ Blend markers. I had searched for images of hummingbirds on Pinterest. The variety of colours is breathtaking. Isn’t Mother nature wonderful?
This stamped mat was mounted onto a 12cm square of Black card and a length of Pretty Peacock/Old Olive reversible ribbon wrapped around it. This was then mounted onto a Pretty peacock 12.5cm square card base.
The card was finished with a ribbon bow and some rhinestones.
