It has been a while since I played with the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and coordinating punches
A Colour Challenge
For my first card I was inspired by the colour challenge over at The Global Design Challenge
This card was a combination of new products and old. I used a Pretty Peacock card base and a soft sea foam mat of card on top. On another narrower strip of soft sea foam card I used one of the new narrow Greenery embossing folders to give the foliage detail in the top and bottom corners. The daisies were stamped in Blushing Bride ink with soft sea foam sponged in the centre. The pretty peacock foliage was die cut from the new forever flourishing dies. The gold thread comes from the Forever Greenery Trim combo. The greeting was stamped onto some card that was punched with the Lovely labels Pick-a-Punch to build up the layered look. The gilded gems gave the finishing touches.

A Touch of Gold.
I made a second card with the Daisy Punch. This time I used some Designer Series Paper from the In Good Taste pack, which was stuck to some Petal Pink card. I embossed the greeting and the Daisy with gold embossing powder. I used one of the stunning Forever Gold Laser Cut labels behind the daisy. The small gold flowers were created using the confetti flowers border punch from gold foil. I used some more of the gold thread and some Petal Pink organdy striped ribbon. The soft colours of this card give it an elegant feel.
It was nice to be playing with these stamps and punches again.
