Today I am sharing a versatile love themed card using Stampin’ Up’s Lifetime of Love Bundle

A Versatile Love Themed Card

“Lifetime of Love” – Elegant Layered Heart Card

For this project, the focus is on creating a timeless project.
The Lifetime of Love bundle lends itself beautifully to projects that feel romantic without being overly busy, making it ideal for weddings, anniversaries, and meaningful love-themed cards.

🧰 Materials

• White card base
• Coordinating cardstock and foil for layers
• Lifetime of Love stamps and coordinating dies
• Versamark Ink pad and Gold Embossing Powder
• Die-cutting machine
• Adhesive (liquid glue and dimensionals)
• Strawberry Slush in Gems

✂️ Project Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Card Base

Create a standard folded card base.
Add a slightly smaller Strawberry Slush mat and then a gold foil mat to frame the design and give structure to the card. I always gut my Gold Foil mats so I can use the inside piece for another project. Then add a slightly smaller Basic White mat.

Step 2: Die-Cut the Frame

Using the frame die from the Lifetime of Love bundle, die-cut:

• One frame in Gold and one in Basic White
• With my white frame, I covered the cut die with a long piece of press’n’seal to lift all the small negative pieces from the inside of the flowers. I then folded the bottom of the press’n’seal over the lifted pieces and flipped it, carefully pulling off the top layer. This meant that all the small flower and leaf pieces were now facing the right way for me to colour them with Stampin’ Blends. I used Strawberry Slush and Lemon Lime Twist.
• The gold frame was stuck to the white mat. The coloured pieces were then inlaid in the frame – a fiddly, but worthwhile process.

Layering these shapes adds depth while keeping the design cohesive.

Step 3: Finishing the Card

• Stamp the sentiment in the centre of the frame with Versamark ink and heat emboss with Gold.
• Die cut 2 leaves from gold foil using the die from the bundle. Add to the top of the frame.
• Add some Strawberry Slush gems

✨ Final Thoughts

The theme “I’m in the Mood for Love” is a lovely reminder that handmade cards can mark some of life’s most meaningful moments.
This project is intentionally versatile, making it suitable for romantic occasions, celebrations of commitment, or simply reminding someone they are loved.
