As we have continued this week with daily weekday Facebook Lives, we have spent 4 of those days playing with the Under my Umbrella stamp set and coordinating punch. There was a range of different techniques that we used to create our card collection.

Monday

We haven’t done a CASE the catalogue Monday for a couple of weeks, but we changed that this week with this cute pair of cards.

I loved the white embossing on the coloured card with these images, teamed with the tone-on-tone stamping in the background. A lovely little card.

I loved the stamped and coloured flowers on the umbrella with the white border. This was achieved by cutting a masking frame which I then stamped into.

The video of this Facebook Live is here if you want to catch up.

Tuesday

On Tuesday we had a little fancy fold and a topical rainbow.

This little fancy fold card used the papers from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper in combination with the umbrella. The water colour effect on the back panel was achieved with a couple of different stamp sets – the “Love What you Do” stamp set and the Waterfront stamp set. The layering circles were used to create the peep hole apertures.

The folded umbrella stamp, the punch and a rainbow assortment of card were combined to create this very on trend card. There are rainbows everywhere, as we think about our key workers and this greeting is so apt. You can watch both cards being created here:

Wednesday

Day 3 of working with thois bundle and we are nowhere near close to running out of ideas.

Using the Stamparatus and the hinge method, we were able to create this cute stack of wellies. Add in a couple of colourful umbrellas and some splattering using the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blend.

For a much softer look we combined some masking with water colouring using the, soon to be retiring, in colors. The sky was painted with gray granite for a stormy effect, with some rainy ink splatters and drops of shimmery crystal effects.

Thursday

We couldn’t let standards slip as we had a final play this week with these products. How about some no line water colouring and a shaker card.

We’ve done 2 different sorts of masking already this week, so how about throwing in a third. This time we masked off a panel on each side of our front mat and using all the small flower stamps on a block at once and 2nd generation stamping we created a floral pane. Watercolor pencils and a blender pen were used to fill in the colour. This panel was added to the zesty combination of Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green cardstock.

Woven threads designer series paper and woven threads sequins combine to create this fun card. The raindrops are heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give them a wet, shiny look.

Here is the final video in this product series.

All the time we have been playing with this wet weather bundle, the weather outside has been gorgeous. It is a such a delightful combination though, we won’t let that fact get in the way of our creativity. I hope you get to play with these stamps and matching punch soon.
