Today’s blog post features an autumn themed fancy fold card.
Each week Demonstrators from the Crafty Collaborations Community take part in a Monochromatic Insta Hop over on Instagram. Each week a different colour is chosen and the participants create a monochromatic card.
The colour this week is Cherry Cobbler and I can’t wait to see all the other ideas that my fellow demonstrators have come up with
To create my card I used Stampin’ Up’s Autumn Leaves stamp set, the coordinating dies and the Leaf Fall embossing folder,

An Autumn Themed Fancy Fold Card
I don’t know what the name is of this great little fun fold, but I use it often. They are created by creating a side fold card base. Then cut 7cm from the front right (2 3/4″ if using Imperial cardstock). The section you have cut off is then turned 90 degrees and used as the front panel. I have used a Cherry Cobbler card base, with Basic White and Cherry Cobbler mats.
The front panel of the card is stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and the large leaf image. The inside mat measures 7cm x 9.5cm (2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ for Imperial) . This has then been embossed with the gorgeous Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder.
For the front panel I added some gold embossing, both on the sentiment and also on the leaves, which were stamped and die cut. The sentiment comes from the Friends for life stamp set.
The die cut leaves were added to the front panel, as well as a bow of gold ribbon and some gold pearls.
The Cherry Cobbler mat is added to the white mat on the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of space for writing your greeting.
