Instructions
- Fold your card base in half on the score line. Stick the Just Jade mat to the card base.
- Take the Mint Macaron card stock and die cut the branches edge along the bottom.. Stick the strip of Mint Macaron DSP to this card strip. Stick to the card base.
- Stamp the birds on Basic White card with So Saffron ink and add the detail with Blushing Bride ink. If the bird’s eyes need some more definition, add with a watercolor pencil. Stamp one set of legs with Blushing Bride legs. Die cut with the coordinating dies.
- Stamp the nest onto Basic White card with Crumb Cake ink and die cut with coordinating die.
- Die cut the three small eggs from Balmy Blue DSP.
- Arrange the birds, neat and eggs on the card front, using a mixture of liquid glue and dimensionals.
- From So saffron DSP, die cut the word “EASTER” using the Playful Alphabet dies and the word “wishes” using the Well Written dies.
- Finish by wrapping some Linen Thread twice around the spine of the card and tying a bow, then adding 3 of the Opal Rounds.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
How Can I Help?
I love watching all the birds in my garden and this pair on their nest, remind me that Spring is well and truly on its way. You can create cards to send to people this Easter, even if you don’t have specific Easter sets in your collection. Aren’t Alphabet dies wonderful?
Stay safe and stay well.
