For this blog hop I have used the baby wipe technique and silhouette images from the new Amazing Silhouette’s Bundle in the mini catalogue.
The theme of this hop is the new January-June mini catalogue. There are so many beautiful products, it was hard to choose what to play with. In the end this interesting stamp set and the coordinating word dies won.
With this Cling Stamp Set the image is created by the area that doesn’t stamp. I chose to create this multi-tonal background with the baby wipe technique.
Baby Wipe Technique and Silhouette Images
There are three stamps in the set – a tree, a butterfly and some foliage. The die set contains both the detailed words and coordinating shadow backgrounds.
I added drops of Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green ink to a folded baby wipe to create my custom ink pad. I then stamped all three images onto some Basic White card.
The tree card was backed with a piece of Pacific Point cardstock. The Granny Apple Green mat was embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder, which is one of the products carrying over from the July-December 2021 mini catalogue. The two layers of the “thanks” was die cut in Pacific Point and Granny Apple Green.
For this foliage image, I created the swiped effect on the mat by rubbing the inked baby wipe across a piece of Basic White cardstock. I originally just cut the detailed words from Granny Apple Green cardstock, but for this card they looked so much better with the Pacific Point shadow.
Th butterfly was stamped three times for this card and I added a sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set, also inked from my baby wipe. The darker Blue Adhesive Gems coordinated beautifully with the colours in the card.
