The Chopped Challenge is a Card making Challenge that happens every month. I am part of the adminstration team and anyone wanting to take part in the UK can book through me. There are also Demonstrators in Australia, Canada and the US.

As entries are now in and the voting is live, on my recent Live, I took the elements from August’s kit and had a play to see what I could come up with. I created two cards, as I had allocated myself 2 kits. These kits including Paper and ribbon from the Peaceful Place Suite.
My Cards For The Card Making Challenge
This first card has used the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and some silver heat embossing to compliment the elements in the kit. I even silver embossed the grey circle to create my moon. i was able to utilise both sides of the Designer Series Paper in this project.
For the second card, I was inspired by a recent blog post to create a corner latch card. I worked with a Thick Basic White card base and used my Basic White and Basic Black cardstock to create mats and layers. The bark effect on this Designer Series Paper worked beautifully with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder I used in the background. For this card I used the 2 step tree stamp from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set.
