I recently had fun creating cards with birdhouses using the Garden Birdhouses stamp set.
The photopolymer stamp set consists of line drawn images, featuring three birdhouses, three birds and trees and flowers. There is also a variety of sentiments in a mixture of fonts. I used the stamps to create two cards, one of which I turned into a Christmas card. It is always great to explore the versatility of our products.
My Cards With Birdhouses
For this first card I cut a stitched rectangle from a piece of Designer Series paper. The frame was flipped and both pieces were then stuck to the Cinnamon Cider card front.
The birdhouse scene was stamped onto a stitched rectangle of Shimmery White Cardstock. The colour was then dragged out or added with a blender pen. The two birds were stamped and cut out.
Here is a Christmas card. The Garden Birdhouse stamp set is teamed with the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and the So Many Snowflakes dies. I used White Craft ink to stamp snowflakes on the card base. Then the images were stamped in Stazon onto Fluid 100 watercolor paper. I coloured these with Water Painters and ink. The bird house had a layer of snow added with some embossing paste.
Add a smattering of sequins for more detail and some sparkle.
