Welcome to today’s post featuring a centre stepper card that is perfect for Galentine’s Day which is happening on 13th February.

Galentine’s Day is the festival we are celebrating for the latest Festive Friday Challenge. It is the perfect excuse for letting those special girlfriends know how much they mean to you.

The Design Team took the theme and came up with a list of elements that could inspire your creativity.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge.  Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list! 

My project used: friendship sentiment, hearts, pink, flowers, twine, fancy fold, something shiny

To create my card I used the Country Lane Floral Suite. These beautiful papers and the stamps and coordinating punch are fabulous for Valentine’s Day, for Weddings and Engagements, but also shouldn’t be forgotten for birthdays, thank yous and lots of other occasions. Centre Stepper Card

• Take a 14.9cm x 21cm piece of Petal Pink cardstock.
• Line cardstock up in paper trimmer with the short edge at the top so that the edge of the card is at the 2.5cm mark. Position the cutting blade at 2.5cm and cut from 2.5cm to 13″.
• Place cardstock onto scoring tool and score along the long side of the card from the edge to the cut line at 2.5cm, 5cm and 13cm.
• Score between cut lines at 10.5cm
• Fold at the score lines. The first, third and centre score lines are mountain folds. The second score line is a valley fold. Reinforce score lines to make folds crisp.
• Add mats of Designer Series paper to the panels. The centre panels is 9.5cm x 10cm, the two long strips are 2cm x 7.5cm and the two small squares are 2cm x 2cm.
• Punch the heart and leaf shapes from the Designer Series Paper. Layer them up on the car front, along with some thin strips of cardstock to create the stems.
• The sentiment is stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink and attached to the front with a Sweet Sorbet twine bow.
• Champagne Rhinestones are added to decorate the front.
