On a recent live I was creating Christmas cards with sentiment dies from Stampin’ Up’s Words of Cheer bundle

Two Christmas cards using the Words of Cheer bundle from Stampin' up whiich features layering sentiment dies.

The bundle consists of a photopolymer stamp and a coordinating die set. The dies cut out the large floral image from the stamp set, but also has two sets of large layering sentiment dies to create the words “happy” and “cheer”.

You can see a full list of the products I used at the end of the post, with links to my online store.

My Christmas Cards with Sentiment Dies

A Christmas card using sentiment dies from Stampin' Up's Words of Cheer bundle and some heat embossed vellum.

Die cut vellum was used in this first card. I heat embossed the floral image in white on the vellum and then added the layered “happy”.

*Top Tip – use the doubled sided adhesive sheets with your dies to make it easier to layer them up.

Some flowers and extra foliage were die cut, adding in some of the White Velvet paper for a different texture.

The layered sentiment dies on this Christmas Card are stuck together using adhesive sheets and the flowers are cut from velvet paper. All products from stampin' up!

The little pearlescent dots are part of the “sequins for everything” collection. This is such a versatile little box of bling.

This Christmas card uses sentiment dies from the Words of Cheer bundle and papers from Whimsy & Wonder. All stampin' Up!

For the second card I dipped into the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series paper pack. As well as using a sheet for the background, I also fussy cut some of the beautiful packages and used some of the Polished Pink paper to die cut the background cheer element.

I again used white velvet paper for the individual cheer letters and again used adhesive sheets.

The pearls on this die cut sentiment are coloured with a Stampin' Blend alcohol marker from Stampin' up

The die that cuts these adorable little holly leaves, also embosses the vein detail on them. I teamed these up with some small pearls that I coloured pink with my Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend.

How Can I Help

The sentiment dies in Stampin' Up's Words of Cheer bundle have been used to create these two Christmas Cards.

I hope I have given you some inspiration with this bundle. I know it is one that people tell me they have overlooked in the catalogue, but it has so much potential and you can be wishing people happiness and cheer long after Christmas. How about “Happy” Anniversary, or a card to “Cheer”You Up , or “Cheer” you on.

As always, don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can help with purchasing these items , or if you have a crafty question.

Meanwhile stay safe and stay well

Helen xx
