A Circular Card and Faux Shutter Card both feature on today’s blog post.
I am joining other demonstrators from the Crafty Collaborations community to share something we are working on at the moment. I am sharing the two cards I made on my Live this week. They both feature the stunning Winter Meadow Suite from the mini catalogue.
This suite combines stamps, dies, two packs of paper, some embellishments and ribbon. It has a lovely soft, frosty colour palette and it is perfect for Christmas cards and for other occasions being celebrated during the winter months.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.
Circular Card and Faux Shutter Card
This suite features lots of foliage images in the papers, in the stamps and some gorgeous detailed foliage dies and there is even a die included to cut lots of berries. I wanted to explore the diversity of the suite by creating two very different cards.
Faux Shutter Card
I had seen quite a few of these faux shutter cards popping up and wanted to give one a go. They look far more complicated than they actually are and that beautiful paper in the background does most of the work.
I used my Stampin’ Write markers to colour my image, so I could add the different colours to reflect the paper.
The sparkly faceted gems are just so opulent. I love them.
Circular Card
For my second card, I went to town with the new Deckled Circle dies to create this large circular card, with a circular frame on the front.
Lots of die cut foliage is bursting out from the frame, with the added pops of colour.
This silver & white sheer ribbon has quickly become a favorite. I love the way the sheerness of the white allows colours behind to show through, yet it has that pop of silver.
The background paper on this card is one of the foiled designs from the Snowflakes Magic Specialty paper pack that forms part of the suite.
Whether you are creating Christmas Cards, or special winter birthday greetings, this card has it all.
