For today’s project I have been demonstrating Colouring Direct To Stamp With Stampin’ Write Markers. The Stampin’ Write markers have been reconfigured and I enjoyed trying them out with this Bee card that I am sharing on this Creativity Abounds hop.

The Creativity Abounds Design Team are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you.  We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, then these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin’ Up!® teams.

These monthly blog hops also introduce you to our latest Tutorial Bundle containing lots of different inspiring projects.

Colouring Direct To Stamp With Stampin’ Write Markers

For this card I brought together some of the new 2023-2025 In Colors and combined them with the Queen Bee stamp set. This stamp set isn’t in the catalogue, but is one of the Online Exclusives that you can find in the Online store.

You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.

New In Colors

The background mat on this card is in Wild Wheat, and then the torn layer of Basic White has Wild Wheat ink blended around the edge.

To stamp the script image in the background I used Moody Mauve. This colour is more of a dark Dusky Pink, but is very pretty.

To create the multi tonal effect on the bee and the sentiment, I coloured directly onto the stamps using the Stampin’ Write markers . I love the effect this creates. The little heart in the bee was coloured with the new style bullet end on the Moody Mauve marker.

The bullet end on the Wild Wheat marker was used to create a hand drawn border.

I hope this card has helped to illustrate why you would want to add these new improved Stampin’ Write markers to your order.
