Today’s post is sharing a corner fold pop up card created with the Fancy Flora Suite.

My project is part of this hop with the Stamping With Friends blog hop which has a theme of pop up cards.

Corner Fold Pop Up Card

To create my cards I used the beautiful papers, stamps, dies and embellishments from the Fancy Flora Suite. This suite features two stamp and die bundles, as well as a pack of 6″ x 6″ papers, some Fine Shimmer paper and to finish your projects, some Pool Party ribbon and gorgeous Iridescent Pastel Gems.

The Fancy Flora Suite

These beautiful papers have an acrylic paint look and have a real textural feel. The floral images in the stamp set use two step stamping to create these detailed blooms.

These elements were combined in this fun Corner Fold Pop Up card.

To create the card base, I first made a template from a piece of 14.9cm x 10.5cm (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) card stock Using a pencil, make a mark at 9cm (3 1/2″) along the long end and 7cm (2 3/4) down the short end. Cut between the two lines. This will give you a triangle that you can then use as a guide to score your card base and cut the layers to shape.

For the front of the card, as well as some of the paper, there is a die cut label surrounded by stamped and die cut flowers. Some of the ribbon has been swirled behind the label and some of the iridescent Gems added

The inside of the card has some more of the papers, some of the flowers stamped onto the white insert and then some more stamped and die cut flowers stuck to a stitched circle to create the pop up element.

A Floral Thank You

While I was playing with these products, I also created this small square thank you cards, with an abundance of the two step stamped blooms bursting out from behind the die cut label.
