Welcome to this Crafty Theme Blog Hop Feb edition.
For this hop we are using a rainbow theme for our projects, so enjoy seeing all the gorgeous inspiration as you hop around.
My Project for The Crafty Theme Blog Hop Feb
For my card I decided to create a watercolour background using Stampin’ Up’s! Fluid 100 watercolour paper and ink refills.
I cut a piece of the watercolour paper and flooded it with water. I then lay down some stripes of ink, Real Red down the left, Daffodil Delight down the centre and Pacific Blue on the right. Using the water painter I then blended the colours across the width of the card.
The panel on the top used the die from the Rainbow of Happiness set and cut the large rainbow from some Pool Party cardstock with Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series paper stuck on top. Two rainbow borders were cut from Basic White card and then stuck each side of the panel.
The die cut clouds were embellished with some Shimmery Crystal Effects to give some texture and sparkle. I also added some Opal Rounds and silver thread.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
