In this month’s Tech 4 Stampers blog hop I am going to be sharing how you can create a card in minutes.

Create a Card in Minutes

I have my first All Day Retreat in over 2 years coming up on Saturday, so I am surrounded by lists, projects and product. This meant I needed a really quick card that I could create for this Blog Hop. the theme of “Keep it Simple” was so welcome!

Grabbing my newly arrived pack of Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper and some Blends and got to work.

	A4 Metric Cardstock	Imperial Letter Size Cardstock
Early Espresso Card Base	10.5cm x 29.7cm Scored at 14.9cm on the long side.	4 1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 5 1/2″ on the long side.
Petal Pink Card	14.4cm x 10cm	5 1/4″ x 4“
DSP	13.9cm x 9.5cm	5″ x 3 3/4″
DSP	11.9cm x 7,5cm	4″ x 2 3/4″
Basic White Insert	13.9cm x 9.5cm	5″ x 3 3/4″

Oddment of Petal Pink for Sentiment

Instructions

The two designers of Designer Series Paper I have used are the two sides of the same sheet.
I stuck the striped paper to the Petal Pink mat. I then used petal Pink and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends to colour some of the tulips in the bottom left of the smaller piece of DSP. This mat was then stuck to the other at an angle.
I tied some Linen Thread around these mats, towards the top and finished with a bow.
The mats were then stuck to the card base.

Use Stampin' Blends to colour images on this Abigail Rose DSP from Stampin' Up!

Using early Espresso ink, I stamped the greeting from the Cottage Rose stamp set on an oddment of Petal Pink cardstock and trimmed the end at an angle. This was stuck over the thread with dimensionals.
The card front had a few Petal Pink Elegant Faceted gems added.

Strips of patterned paper make easy decoration for card inserts.

For the insert I added some strips of the DSP to a mat of Basic White card.
