Create A Hexagonal Focal Point

For today’s post I have set out to create a hexagonal focal point on my card.

This card is my contribution to the Design Team’s selection for the latest Festive Friday Challenge, which is celebrating Father’s Day.

We have used this occasion to come up with a list of elements that we call our Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

My project used: Masculine colours, textured cardstock, geometric design

Create A Hexagonal Focal Point

This project uses 2 of the new In Colors, Secret Sea and Cloud Cover. The stamped images come from the Natutral Botanicals Bundle. These have been framed with a hexagon from the Meant to bee bundle and are backed with an embossed mat using the Forever Plaid folder.

The Natural Botanicals stamp set is one of Stampin’ Up’s Reversible stamps. Some of the leaves have been “coloured” using the reverse of the stamp and 2nd generation Secret Sea ink. The rest are left white. The flower petals were coloured with a Cloud Cover Stampin’ Write marker.
