I have been creating a 3D masculine Box Card and I wanted to share it with you on this hop.

The Bi-monthly Stamping with Friends hop gives demonstrators from around the world the opportunity to share their projects with you. This hop has a theme of Masculine Cards.

Creating a 3D Masculine Box Card

Creating a 3D masculine box card using the He's the Man Suite from Stampin' Up!

For this project I used stamps, papers and the Die Cuts from the He’s The Man Suite in the Annual Catalogue. The pack of Speciality Papers in this Suite contains two sheets of die cuts that you can just pop out and add to your projects.

I made this card for my husband for our 36th Wedding Anniversary at the end of May. To create the Basic Black box frame I followed a tutorial on You Tube from Sam Calcott and then used the Suite to decorate.

Decorating a 3D Masculine Box Frame.

This masculine 3D box card features embossing, stamping and pop out die cuts using the He's the Man Suite from Stampin' Up!

Both sides of the Shadow Box Frame have Basic black card in the back that has been embossed with the Timber 3D embossing frame. In the left hand side, the camper van has been stamped in Early Espresso ink and cut out with a die from the suite, The Gold Foil elements are another die. Again using the dies, labels and banners have been cut from Designer Series Paper. The rest of the elements are pop out die cuts from the Speciality sheets.

Stamped images, Designer Series paper and die cuts from the he's the Man Suite from Stampin' Up have been used in this 3D Masculine Box Card.

On the right hand side, in addition to the die cut Designer Series Paper and Gold foil pieces, there is also the compass image that has been stamped and heat embossed in white. Some more pop out die cuts were chosen for this side.

Both sides of the Shadow Box Frame had some of the Rustic metallic Adhesive-Backed dots added.

The heat embossed sentiment came from the Celebrating You stamp set. there are so many useful sentiments in this set.

The gold corners were die cut from foil using the Fabulous Frames die set. They give the project a great finish.

A sentiment panel was added to the back and I created a sleeve to slip the box into to present it to my husband. It sits beautifully on our mantlepiece, although you could add a stand if you wished to.

Let’s Hop

I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
