I have been creating a collage card using the Latte Love stamp set which I am sharing with you today.
The project is part of the monthly Technique Tuesday Blog Hop from the Crafty Collaborations community, a diverse group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world who come together to share inspiration with you.
The theme this month is collage or retiform and I can’t wait to see all the other ideas that my fellow demonstrators have come up with
Creating a Collage Card
I created this card for a recent class. I was originally inspired by a demonstrator called Robin Armbrecht .
The card uses a combination of stamping, masking and ink blending to gradually build up the layers of interest in the background. The Basic beige cardstock was the perfect base colour for this project.
The background piece was then cut up into 5 slices before being added to a mat of Boho Blue card.
I really enjoyed the process of creating this card and must look out for more stamp sets that will lend themselves to this technique.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
