Creating a Pair of Floral Cards

I enjoyed all the creative possibilities of creating a pair of floral cards with the Floral Charm Suite from Stampin’ Up on these recent Lives.

For both of the videos I used the Floral Charm Suite to create my cards

The suite consists of :

Charming Day Bundle
Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots
Floral Charm Designer Series Paper
Petal Pink Braided Trim

The colour palette in the papers takes it all through every season, making it a really versatile collection.

Creating a Pair of Floral Cards

This first card uses the detailed dies in the bundle to cut leaves and a rose. i added some shading using a Blending Brush. The flower is mounted onto one of the Foiled Frames from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack. Some 2nd Generation Night of Navy Stamping has been added using the wonderful Elements of Text set and some Timid Tiger splatters. there is a couple of designs of the patterned paper used and a piece of the Braided Trim with the ends frayed.

To finish, some of the Petal Pink Charming Shimmer faceted Dots were added.

This second card uses the stamped image, along with some die cut leaves. The image was coloured with Stamping Blends. The background has been created by using the Frame Die with the Gallery Blooms set to cut frames from Designer Series Paper and Berry Burst cardstock.

A double bow of Linen Thread has been used behind the flowers and some Berry Burst Dots.
