I enjoyed creating a thinking of you card and a happy birthday card using the Flowering Tulips bundle on this recent Live. These spring flowers fit perfectly in with the floral theme on this month’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop
For this monthly blog hop we are dreaming of daffodils, dahlias and flowers during April showers and as the tulips are all in bud ready to spring into flower amongst our recent snow showers, they seemed the perfect fit.
My Projects
This Flowering Tulip bundle consists of a photopolymer stamp and a coordinating die set. As well as cutting out the stamped images, there are also dies that create background elements for your projects.
Creating a Thinking of You Card
This first card has a monochrome look that is achieved by using both first and second generation stamping with the Rich Razzleberry ink. The two step stamping allows you to build up the multi tonal flowers. By die cutting the small square patterns into the top and bottom of the Rich Razzleberry card layer, you get to see the Basic Black mat peeping through.
This card could be used as a sympathy card as well as to send to someone generally in need of your support and love
Die Cut Tulips
This second card showcases the layered tulips you can create with the clever dies in this bundle. It also uses some of the gorgeous papers from the Designer Series paper pack from the Flowering Fields Suite. Also from the suite are the adorable Brushed Brass Butterflies – that’s quite a tongue twister.
