For today’s card I have been creating backgrounds with embossing paste and stencils. My project is for the latest Festive Friday Challenge.

Challenge #FF0138 celebrates World Conservation Day which is happening on July 28th. The Festive Friday design Team used this occasion as our starting point when creating the new Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge.  Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

Creating Backgrounds with Embossing Paste and Stencils

This monochrome card uses the stunning Wild & sweet stamp set and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks to create this cute Panda Thank You card.

You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.

The mask was used along with none of the decorative masks from the set to create this background on Basic Black card. The image was stamped in Tuxedo Black me mento onto Basic White card. I id use my stamp positioning tool to ensure I got a good solid image.

I added some punched vellum leaves tucked behind the sentiment and scattered some black Classic matte dots.
