The emboss resist technique is always a fun one to return to. I used it with the Boughs & Blossoms bundle in this recent Live.
The bundle consists of a cling rubber stamp set and a coordinating punch. As well as a selection of flowers and foliage, the stamp set also contains some fun sentiments. The punch gives two different boughs that are going to be so useful for lots of projects.
At the moment during my Lives, I am adding elements from another bundle that is featured in the March “Savings are in Bloom” promotion. On this occasion it was the Art Gallery Bundle.
Emboss Resist Technique
This first card has a panel where I have used the heat emboss resist technique on a panel of Basic White card. The flowers were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then blended over the top with Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Just Jade inks. A label was added with some more flowers nd some punched Just Jade boughs.
I love this colour combination – so much I used it for the second card too.
Using Vellum Mats
For this second card I used a flower image from the Art Gallery bundle to stamp the tone on tone background. The “just want to say” sentiment is a die from this bundle. I teamed it with the “it’s been too long” from the Boughs & Blossoms stamps set.
The sentiment and flowers were added to a scalloped rectangle of Vellum to give a soft barrier between the background and these elements in the front.

How Can I Help
