Today’s project is highlighting embossing techniques on a Blackberry Beauty Card. The theme for this month’s Technique Tuesday blog hop is Heat Embossing techniques, but for my project I used a variety of embossing techniques.

My Embossing Techniques Project

The first layer on the Blackberry Bliss card base is a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Blackberry Beauty Specialty pack.

For the next layer, I inked up the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss with some Basic White cardstock. I tore the edge of this cardstock before sticking it in place.

The next layer was some more of the specialty Designer Series Paper.

Now for some more embossing – I stamped the foliage piece from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set onto some Cinnamon Cider cardstock using Blackberry Beauty ink. I then die cut it with the coordinating dies and embossed it with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder.

Using Gold embossing powder, I heat embossed the greeting onto some Blackberry Bliss cardstock and tore around the edges. I added a swirl of Gold ribbon to the back of this sentiment panel, before adding it to the card front , arranging the embossed foliage and some flowers from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack underneath it.

To finish my card, I added some Gilded gems to the sentiment panel on the front and a stamped insert of Basic White card to the inside.
