A couple of weeks ago, I was delighted to be amongst the Top 10 in Kylie’s International Blog Highlights. Now it is time to take part in the Winner’s Hop. You will be able to check out projects from all the winners taking part.

My Contribution.

Today I had been playing with the new Ornate Garden suite and decided I wanted to combine this foretaste of the new catalogue with some products from the current Annual Catalogue. This gorgeous frame from the “Ornate Layers” was combined with flowers from “Floral Essence”; background stamp from “Praiseworthy Praise” and the main sentiment from the “Ornate Thanks” stamp set.

Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink were used for the stamping on the stitched rectangle. I made a mask from a post-it note to create the arrangement of flowers. To in-fill the leaves with colour, I used a Blender pen to drag the colour out.

For the background, I stamped the “grate-ful” sentiment from the “Praiseworthy Praise” set onto a mat of Melon Mambo cardstock using Melon Mambo ink. Continuing to use Melon Mambo ink, I stamped the sentiment banner on Whisper White.

The card base was Thick Whisper White card stock. The frame was cut from Gorgeous Grape card. A bow made from Gorgeous Grape mini striped ribbon was the finishing touch.
