The Creativity Abounds Design Team are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you.  We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, then these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin’ Up!® teams.

These monthly blog hops also introduce you to our latest Tutorial Bundle containing lots of different inspiring projects.

Fancy Fold Window Card

I saw this fancy fold on a post by Linda Schnabel on Pinterest and thought I would give it a go with Designer Series papers from the Sale-a-Bration offering.

Favored Flowers Book Fold Card

This fancy fold features a basic card fold on the front with a concertinaed insert.

For this first card I started with a Basic Black card base created from a 14.9cm x 21cm (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″) piece of cardstock. A mat of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper was stuck to the front of the card base, adding glue just around the edges. After adding the mat of the Designer Series paper to the front of the card, an aperture was cut in the front. The cardstock circle and Designer Series Paper are then separate to use later.

The insert was created from a 14.4cm x 20cm (51/4″ x 8″) piece of Basic White, which was scored at 10cm/15cm (4″/6″). It was stuck inside the card with the concertina fold on the right hand side. Once the insert was in place, the black card circle that was die cut from the card front was stuck to the concertina insert, using the front aperture as a guide. The Designer Series Paper circle was positioned on the inside of the card.

A Rich Razzleberry card circle was added to the Black card circle. Some flowers were then fussy cut from the Favored Flowers Designer Series paper and arranged on the front.

The sentiment from the “Go-To Greetings” was heat embossed in white on Rich Razzleberry cardstock and then backed with Black. This was added to the card front with dimensionals and a bow of black twine. Some Matte Black Dots were used to finish the front.

Dainty Flowers Tent Fold Card

This second card uses the same basic idea of a card base with a concertinaed insert, only this time the card base was a tent fold. The Designer Series Paper I used for this card was the Dainty Flowers paper, another Sale-a-Bration offer.

A blending brush was used to add Rich Razzleberry ink around the edge of the paper.

Before adding the Basic White circle to the concertina piece it was stamped with images from the Dainty Delight stamp set. Colour was added with watercolor pencils and the edges of this circle was blended with Rich Razzleberry ink.

The “celebrate you” sentiment comes from the Dainty Delight stamp set . It is stamped and has ink blending in Rich Razzleberry.

A bow of ribbon was added to the card front using White Glittered Organdy Ribbon and some Iridescent rhinestones embellished the project.

The stamping and colouring on the inside of the card reflected the stamping on the front circle and the circle of Designer Series paper was added to the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects

How to Get The Tutorial Bundle

I hope you have been inspired during this hop. This project is exclusive to the blog hop, but there is lots more inspiration in the Tutorial Bundle. If you earn or buy the bundle, you will receive a PDF that will contain all the information you need to create the projects shown in the thumbnails yourself, including the products used, the measurements and detailed instructions. You can get your hands on these tutorials in a couple of ways.

How Can I Help?

These papers are very different in style, but are both beautiful collections. They feature a mixture of floral and more generic prints. I will certainly be making the most of them while they are available.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can help with your purchases, or if you have a crafty question.

Meanwhile stay safe and stay well
