Floating & Fluttering Thank You Card

Today’s blog features a Floating & Fluttering Thank You card, which I have created for Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Support Programme blog hop.

This is a monthly blog, which sees demonstrators from all over the world come together to share their customer thank you cards.

My Project

The Floating & Fluttering Bundle was used to create this cute thank you card.

I have die cut 2 sets Coastal Cabana butterflies from the Fluttering dies and stuck these to opposite corners of this Coastal Cabana card base. The Whisper White frame was die cut with an Ornate Frame die. Some Balmy Blue ink was added to the centre of this frame with a blending brush. Using a Light Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend, I added some splatters. The “Thanks” sentiment, from the Ornate Thanks stamp set, was added in Misty Moonlight ink.

A swirl of Coastal Cabana ribbon was added to the card front, with the frame then attached over the top with dimensionals.

One of the dies in the Floating & Fluttering dies set from Stampin' Up adds a fantastic embossed detail to the stamped image.

The butterfly was stamped onto some Whisper White card with Memento ink. There are a cluster of butterflies on the stamp, but I just stamped the relevant part onto a small piece of card. The butterfly was “coloured” using the infill stamp and Coastal Cabana ink and then detail was added with the detail stamp and Misty Moonlight ink. This image was die cut with the small die that also adds embossed detail. The butterfly was added to the card front with dimensionals and some rhinestones were added.

A Whisper White insert was added to the card. It was stamped with the sentiment “ever so much” and some leaves in the corners and around the greeting.
