Today’s Blog Post features a Floral Fancy Fold Card for the new Festive Friday Challenge that launches today.
This new challenge is celebrating National Best Friends day and with that in mind, the Design Team have brought together a list of 10 ideas

My project used: feminine, pink, sparkle, friendship sentiment, patterned paper, ribbon, swirls
Floral Fancy Fold Card
For this fancy fold card, I used some of the Perfectly Pencilled Designer Series paper and coloured it with Polished Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Succulent ink and a Wink of Stella Brush. It doesn’t show up on the photograph, but those flowers really twinkle as they catch the light. The layers of Designer Series Paper and Polished Pink card were cut with the new Deckled Rectangles.
The card features a side flap that folds over the front of the card. Underneath the flap is the swirly circle from the Painted Labels dies. A sentiment is stamped onto a die cut circle of Basic White, stuck on the top of the swirly label.
I made a small slit along the score line of the card fold to thread the ribbon through and stuck it to the back of the flap. This enables me to tie the card shut with a bow.
To finish a few of the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds were added.
