For this week’s new Festive Friday Challenge I have designed a Floral Heart friendship card.

This week’s challenge has a theme of International Friendship day that is coming up on August 1st. We use the occasion to compile our Inspo list.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge.  Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

Instructions for the Floral Heart Friendship Card

• Fold the card base on the score line and stick the Smokey Slate mat in place on the card base..
• Emboss the Basic White layer with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and stick to the card base.
• Die cut the floral heart from the Rose Gold paper and the flowers and leaves from the different colours of cardstock. Cut out a central heart piece from Smokey Slate cardstock and emboss with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder. Cut the banner from Smokey Slate cardstock and then lie the die onto a piece of Basic White card. Draw around the central piece and cut it out to create the piece to stick the greeting on.
• Stamp the greeting onto Basic White card with memento. Stamp the last section of the sentiment with Blushing Bride ink. Cut out the individual words and stick them to the White layer before sticking this to the gray banner.
• Stick a swirl of Highland heather ribbon to the back of the Smokey Slate heart and then attach to the card front. Stick the heart and flowers in place around it and attach the banner across the front.
• Finish with some rhinestones.
