Today I am sharing with you some floral thank you cards that I have created for the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop this month.

The Demonstrator’s who take part in this Stampin’ Dreams blog hop are part of the Crafty Collaborations Community. This month’s hop has a theme of Gratitude. As you hop around you will see how everyone has interpreted this theme.

It is well documented and there is a lot of research that tells us that Gratitude is very good for our Mental Health. If we consciously look for the things we are grateful for, our brain becomes wired to look for those positives.

Floral Thank You Cards

To create my card I used a couple pf products from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

Both the Beautifully Happy stamp set and the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper are level two items that you can earn for free with a purchase. Here in the UK that is with a minimum £90 order, but amounts will depend on your market.

The Beautifully Happy stamp set is a two step stamping photopolymer stamp. The paper is a bumper pack of 48sheets of generic designs that are great for all sorts of projects.

Creating the Cards

This first card combined the spots and stripes in the paper with a floral mat. The flower used the two step stamping technique to give both the outline and the colour in the flower. The thank you was stamped several times around the flower and the splatter stamp was used to add more detail.

The second design uses Stampin’ Blends to add the colour to the floral image. Deckled Rectangles were layered up onto the checked design of the Designer Series paper.

Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green are the predominant colours in both of these cards.
