I have a couple of garden scene cards to share with you today. These projects have been created for the Stamping With Friends Blog hop.
These demonstrators from around the world have come together to share projects using some of our favourite Sale-a-Bration products. I’m never very good at choosing favourites and there is such a fantastic array of choices in this year’s offering so the task is made even harder. I have gone with the latest product to arrive, so this was my first opportunity to really play with it – and getting creative with new things has to be one of my favourite things to do.
Garden Scene Cards
These two cards have been created with the Sale-a-Bration Host set, Scenic Garden. This Cling set is free when you generate a qualifying order. Traditionally this has been by hosting a party, but there are so many different ways you can bring people together to craft and collect orders, including private classes and kit parties or you perhaps have a large shopping list of your own.
Watercolour Card
This first image has been stamped in Saddle Brown Stazon onto Shimmery White card and then water coloured. The edges of the card have been torn and a Blending Brush used to ink the edges. It has then been added to a Soft Suede mat.
The sentiment comes from the “Go To greetings” set and the sentiment strip has had similar treatment so it coordinates. Both of the pieces have been added to a Soft Succulent card base which was first stamped with the hollyhocks image in Soft Succulent ink.
Some Linen Thread has been tied around the middle of the card and then some Brass Butterflies are fluttering across the card front.
Stampin’ Blends
This second card is a fancy fold, tri-fold card, with a stitched rectangle aperture in the front. The garden bench has been stamped with Memento and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends. Again, the sentiment comes from the “Go To Greetings” set and has been stuck to a stitched rectangle. Dimensionals have been used to attach this sentiment to the front.
The Soft Succulent ribbon adds a flash of colour to the Soft Sea Foam card base.
Both of these cards feature inserts that have been stamped with the Hollyhocks image.
Video
You can see both of these cards being created on this video of a recent Live.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
