Is getting round to your tags one of your creative jobs on your to do list?
Once we have created all our Christmas Cards, that doesn’t mean we can’t still play with our festive products. One of the key things we still need to create is the tags for our Christmas gifts.
Round Tags
This little collection of tags all started with a large, stitched circle. The hole for the ribbon was created with the Detailed Trio Punch. The Designer Series paper is all from the “Tis the Season” 6”x 6” pack. Three of the large, stitched circles were die cut from the paper, then each circle was cut in half and these were stuck onto the circles, creating 6 different patterns by using both sides of the double sided papers.
Sentiments
The sentiments on the tags all came from the Yuletide pasture stamp set. As well as having cute animal images, this set also has these bold festive sentiments. The ink colours that were used were: Real Red; Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Shaded Spruce.
Trim them Up
Now to get playing with the decorations. Here we have used die cut stars from the Stitched Stars dies; the scalloped border from the Peony dies and some mistletoe was fussy cut from the DSP pack. The returning favourite product, the jingle bells, featured on three of the tags and a variety of ribbons and trims were used.
- Playful pets trim Combo
- Real Red Sheer Ribbon
- White crinkled seam Binding – coloured both Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce with Stampin’ blends
- Gold Thread from the Forever greenery Combo
- Linen Thread
- Braided Linen thread
- Very vanilla/Gold pleated ribbon from the Boho indigo product medley
Some of the tags were finished with a variety of rhinestones from the current collections.
