Baubles, metallics and bright colours all featured in this weeks Facebook Lives as we played with the Brightly Gleaming suite. It consists of a detailed stamp set with not one, but two co=ordinating punches. There are exquisite papers, copper embellishments, an embossing folder and gorgeous ribbon.

Monday

On Monday’s Live, I re-created this bright sample using the stamp set and punches. It has none of the metallic elements that feature in the papers and co-ordinating products, but that doesn’t in anyway detract from its appeal.

You can catch up on that video here:

Thursday

On Thursday, I went all out with the metallic touches.

My first project came about when I saw that The Paper Player Challenge was for a Tall and Skinny Card this week. I didn’t follow the sketch for that challenge, but my starting point was a DL shaped card.

I used the stamps and combined them with gold embossing powder and gold embossed foil and gold glimmer paper. These were arranged onto some striped paper from the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper pack.

Thursday’s second project was a boxed frame. This took full advantage of the copper foiling in the paper and the co-ordinating elements.

You can see me putting the frame together and starting the decorating process on Thursday’s Live.
