On Friday night, along with members of my team, we hosted our “Big Party”. We had held one last year and that had been a fun night and although the numbers this year were a bit lower-due in the main to it being the start of the Bank Holiday weekend- we still had a lot of crafty fun.

So much fun in fact that I forgot to take any photos on the night. I can share with you though, the projects we made.

So as well as chatting; eating cake, snacks and treats; and enjoying prize patrol;we used some of the products from the upcoming Autumn/Winter catalogue in our make and take projects.

Christmas Card

This cute 3″ square Christmas card used the stamps, punch and papers from the upcoming “Perfectly Plaid” suite. A great collection of trees with a matching punch and co-ordinating papers with gold embossing.

There are other great things in the suite including ribbons, jingle bells and gold pizza boxes.

Treat Box

This cute little box also used those gold embossed papers from the Perfectly Plaid suite. The poinsettia and sentiment both came from a stamp set called “Cup of Christmas”

I’m sure you are going to hear and see quite a bit more about this stamp set. It has a patent pending as it contains the first double sided stamps. For the spotted and striped mugs, you can ink up and stamp the image on both sides. There are also co-ordinating dies. I look forward to having fun with this set as an upcoming product of the week.

Bauble.

Simply stamp and punch 5 baubles and glue them together. Spritz with some shimmer paint and add a bow. The result, an adorable decoration for your tree. The stamp set and punch (one of 2 punches in the bundle). come from the Brightly Gleaming suite of products. The papers in this suite are exquisite, but we’ll play with those another day.

New Catalogue

Having drawn the raffle we ensured everyone had the opportunity to take a copy of the new catalogue, before sending them home with inky fingers and a smile on their face.

If you are not yet lucky enough to have a seasonal catalogue of your own and you are based here in the UK, you can request one here.

The catalogue goes live to customers on the 4th September, so you will start to see lots of projects and inspiration on all my social media outlets. Make sure you have your catalogue at the ready.
