Today’s post is sharing some Halloween cards using punches and dies
The theme for this month’s hop is Halloween. I don’t have any of the current Halloween sets, because, although my Grandchildren love dressing up, celebrations and card sending is still not a very big thing here in the UK. This left me having to think outside the box for my projects.
Halloween Cards Using Punches and Dies
I rummaged through my punches and dies to come up with some ideas. I used both the Ladybug Builder punch and the Grove dies and combined them with orange and black to create two very different cards.
Spider Card
The spider was created by cutting the antennae off of the ladybird and then punching out 3 more sets. These formed the legs of the spider. His eyes were created by using a hole punch on white card.
The spider is sitting on a piece of Silver Metallic Mesh ribbon and some mats of Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black Designer Series paper from the Cottage Gingham pack.
The sentiment has been created with the Alphabest stamp and punch bundle.
Spooky Woods
This spooky woodland scene was created by layering the tree frame from the Grove Dies over the top of a blended background. Some birds were added, flying across the yellow moon.

Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects

Helen, your cards are clever and cute! I love that you used products that were non-Halloween to create your cards.
