I demonstrated how to create a Double Easel card using the Friendly Hello Sale-a-Bration Bundle from Stampin’ Up on a recent Live.
This bundle consists of a photopolymer stamp and a coordinating pack of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series paper. The spring-like fresh colour palette of this paper, used in combination with the cute stamp set makes creating cards easy.
My Cards
This first card uses sponge daubers to add colour to the flowers and leaves in this Designer Series paper. The cleverly designed coordinating stamps have enabled me to add gold embossed highlights to the flowers. There is also a hint of embossed detail behind the floral paper, using the Stripes and Splatters 3D embossing folders.
How To Create a Double Easel Card
This second card was a fancy fold card. This Double Easel style of card is simple to put together, but creates a wow on the mantelpiece.
This template gives you the measurements in both metric and imperial for a standard Double Easel Fold card.
I used the papers to decorate the card, before adding in some die cut panels. The top one features a water coloured image. The bottom, sentiment panel is heat embossed in black.
The card is finished with the addition of the Pool Party Sheer ribbon and the Champagne Rhinestones
