I have been extremely challenged and frustrated this week by technology. The only frightful thing for me this Halloween, was the seemingly endless battle to try and create videos that I could share with my lovely followers.

However, at last, by lunchtime on Friday I have managed to upload some videos showcasing the new, while stocks last, “Christmastime is Here” suite

Monday

Back on Monday, everything ran smoothly as we were introduced to the “Christmastime is Here” suite as a Product of the week. Obviously this isn’t featured in any of catalogues, so instead of CASEing the catalogue, we CASE’d the samples that had been created by Stampin’ Up’s concept artists instead.

We used the photopolymer stamp set to create the images on the card. A bit of splattering with a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write marker and one of the label dies from the co-ordinating die set. All this was mounted on one of our gold foiled cards.

Check out the card in production here:

After I had finished recording on Monday, while all the pieces were still on my desk, I created another project using the Designer Series Paper.

I added some gold embossing powder to the edges of the fussy cut image and I die cut a couple of the fancy corners to sit behind the flowers. This was laid onto some of the patterned paper and some of the shimmery gold ribbon was wrapped around and a bow stuck on with glue dots. The sentiment came from the ever useful Perennial Birthday set.

Friday

On Thursday evening this week I was heading to an Evening Wedding Reception. A lovely family occasion. This did mean, however, that I wasn’t going to be around to do my useful 6pm live on Facebook. The plan instead, was to record a video, upload it to You Tube and then post the link to go Live at 6pm. Seemed a good idea at the time. After multiple problems and hiccups in the process, I decided to come Live on Friday morning to share my projects.

The bonus was that there is now an additional project to share with you

We had a Gold Pizza Box, decorated with some of the Designer Series Paper and some torn cardstock roses.

I created a 3D decoupage topper by cutting elements out of the stamped and coloured images to layer up with foam pads.

And the bonus project was some no line water colouring to give a much softer finish.

You can see more details about all these projects in Friday’s Facebook Live
