In today’s post you will find a couple of ideas for springtime floral cards. They are for the Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop.

We are a group of Demonstrators, led by Louise, seeking to learn, implement and improve our use of technology and online resources in our businesses.

Ideas For Springtime Floral Cards

for my cards I used the Mixed Media Florals, and the dies from the Hearts of Elegance Bundle.

The suite consists of 2 stamp and die bundles; an Embossing Folder: a pack of patterned paper and some pretty embellishments.

Layered Blooms

This first card primarily uses one of the patterned papers. Having attached one piece to a square Basic White card base (12.5cmx 12.5cm / 5″ x 5″), I then cut some flowers from more of the paper and layered them up onto the card base with dimensionals.

The label and sentiment comes from the Floral labels bundle.. A small stamped and die cut ladybird was added to the label and 2 others amongst the flowers, Finally, a linen thread bow was tucked under the label.

The dimension that the raised flowers add to this card gives this simple card just a bit extra interest.

Heart Easel Card

The largest heart die in the Heart of Elegance set, was just calling out to be made into a heart shaped easel card. The dies were also used to cut patterned paper to decorate the card base and a detailed central heart to embellish the card front.

Leaves and the strip across the front of the card front was cut using the Mixed labels dies. The flowers in the centre of the heart were fussy cut from the patterned paper.

The easel stopper was created using a label from the Mixed labels dies, a sentiment from the Mixed labels dies and some of the Low Profile Dots.
