The project today is anything but a card. It has been fun to create something a little different for the Blogging Friends Blog Hop today.
My Project
I have combined the papers from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper with the fabulous Love of Leaves bundle and some wooden lolly sticks to create this hanging plaque.
I used Night of Navy, Gray Granite and Basic Gray ink to stamp the leaves before cutting them out with the coordinating dies. The stitched effect is also created with a die. I added 2 leaves from the wooden “In Good Taste” elements which I had sponged with Night of Navy. The little spray of leaves was topped off with a Night of Navy bow.
This sentiment from the Love of Leaves stamp set seems a perfect addition to the plaque and just right for us in the UK as we head into another lockdown.
The Night of Navy ribbon was attached to the rear of the plaque, so it is ready to hang on the wall and spread its message of hope.
Of course you could change the look of this plaque by changing the papers and the embellishments you add to it. This whale one was created during a recent Lilypad Stamp Club

This is such a clever project! Thanks for sharing!
What a great project, Helen! I love this and the whale plaque as well! Super cute and would look great hanging in a craft space or even as a place holder for the thanksgiving table.
