Wonderful Moments
We have had news of a couple of new babies that are going to be joining our wider family over the coming months. That is always exciting and my mind instantly went to the gorgeous “Wonderful Moments” stamp set. This set has beautiful line drawings of a Mum-to-Be, a bride and a young lady who you can give balloons, flowers or a bag to hold.
Obviously I wanted to use the Mum to Be,
I decided I was going to hedge my bets and use both pink and blue on my card. I choose some Designer Series Paper from the “Dinoroar” collection and this gave me the colours that I used elsewhere – Lovely Lipstick and Pool Party. The cardstock, the ribbon and the Stampin’ Blends were all used in these colours.
I wanted to add a bit of texture to the background, so I die cut the heart border from the Stitched Be Mine collection of hearts. That also gave me the little hearts I added as embellishments (and lots of others for another project).
I cut the sentiment into strips and backed them onto some Pool Party cardstock to help them stand out.
This is a lovely bright card. Perfect for sending out to family, friends or colleagues who are waiting excitedly and expectantly for a new arrival.
I hope you will enjoy hopping along with us all
