Welcome to our First Creativity Abounds Blog Hop and love is all around as we get creative with some of our love themed products.

The Creativity Abounds Design Team are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you.  We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, then these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin’ Up!® teams.

These monthly blog hops also introduce you to our latest Tutorial Bundle containing lots of different inspiring projects.

My Project

For my blog project, I wanted to give a nod to the project I have made for our fabulous tutorial I’ve used a similar colour palette and some of the new Gilded Leafing.

I took a piece of the Designer Series Paper and using one of the new blending brushes, I coloured it with Cherry Cobbler ink. While I was colouring things with Cherry Cobbler, I also coloured some of the black and white twine from the playful pets combo using a Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the large bloom and the larger leaves from the “Forever & Always” stamp set. These were coloured with Cherry Cobbler stampin’ blends and Mossy Meadow. Although there are dies for these images, I actually fussy cut them. I always find this a therapeutic activity.

With my bottle of multipurpose glue, I added some detailing dots and lines. I then set it aside until the glue turned clear. At this stage the glue is tacky. I then dropped it into my box of Gilded leafing. Having rubbed the leafing into the tacky details, I brushed the excess off with a piece of Stamping Sponge.

The flower and leaves were layered onto a Basic Black Stitched Triangle. For the greeting, I die cut 2 of the small labels from the “Always ” dies in Cherry Cobbler card. I stamped the greetings from the “Forever & Always”. I has to mask the “&” form one of the greeting stamps to achieve the greeting I wanted.

The card base was created form Basic Black card stock, with a Cherry Cobbler layer

Creativity Abounds Tutorial Bundle

Our first bundle is a Love themed bundle. There is lots of inspiration for your Valentine Cards, but also for weddings, engagements, anniversaries and just because. Of course, you can use different stamp sets, dies and papers to create cards for all occasions.
