Where possible I like to try and take part in this fantastic Blog Hop each month. It provides the opportunity for me and you to travel the world, admiring beautiful projects, from lots of Demonstrators, whose common denominator is their involvement in Kylie’s training group.

My Project

This month I reached for the big, bold Good Morning Magnolia Stamp. I stamped and embossed both the flower and the sentiment with white embossing powder. The stamparatus proved useful in helping to get a good image with this big stamp.

To colour the stamp, I squeezed a drop of craft ink re-inker onto a block and adding a little water to thin it down, I painted it onto the embossed image with a water brush. I let it dry, before adding a hint of colour with both a Granny Apple Green and a Rococo Rose Stampin Blend.

I added splatters of watered down craft ink to the card.

For my layers, I added a Rococo Rose mat to a Basic Black card base, lining all the layers up in the bottom left corner. All that was left was to add some pearls, again coloured with the Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blend.
