A little Christmas crafting, a lot of festive cheer, and a beautiful handmade decoration to treasure! 🎄🏠

There’s something rather special about decorating our homes for Christmas, isn’t there? Bringing out those favourite decorations, adding a few twinkling lights and making everything feel warm, welcoming and festive.

And it’s even more special when some of those decorations are things we’ve made ourselves!

This year, I’ve fallen in love with the Merry Manor Kit from Stampin’ Up!, and I think it’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a little festive creativity, either on your own or with a few friends.

Meet the Merry Manor Kit

How adorable is this little Christmas house?

With its bright red walls, snow-covered roof, pretty green awning, festive wreath and Christmas trees, it’s a gorgeous little 3D decoration that would look wonderful on a mantelpiece, sideboard or shelf.

The finished house measures approximately 24 cm wide by 20 cm high, making it a lovely statement piece without taking over your Christmas display.

The kit costs just £19 and includes the coordinating pieces and instructions you’ll need to put your Christmas house together.

You don’t need to be an experienced papercrafter to enjoy making it, either. Just allow yourself a little creative time and enjoy watching your festive house take shape!

And once it’s finished, you’ll have something lovely to bring out and enjoy again next Christmas.

Fancy a Christmas Crafting Get-Together?

Now, I love crafting on my own, but there’s something wonderful about creating alongside friends.

So I thought, why not turn the Merry Manor Kit into a festive social occasion?

Imagine a cosy evening with a few friends, some Christmas music playing, perhaps a glass of mulled wine or a mug of hot chocolate, and everyone making their own little Christmas house.

Or perhaps you’re more of an afternoon tea person? A pot of tea, a slice of cake and a table full of Christmas crafting sounds pretty perfect to me!

There are lots of ways to enjoy it:

🍷 Girls’ Night In – Gather your friends for an evening of Christmas crafting, chatting and festive refreshments.

🫖 Christmas Crafty Afternoon Tea – A relaxing afternoon with friends, tea, cake and creativity.

🎄 Festive Family Get-Together – Make your Christmas houses together and enjoy a little quality creative time.

🏠 A Crafting Party at Home – Invite a few friends around and let me come along to help you put your houses together.

I’ll Come and Craft With You – Just £20 Per Person!

If you’re local to the Wellingborough area, I’d be delighted to come along and help you and your friends create your Merry Manor houses, or I could join you via Zoom if you are a little further away.

For £20 per person, you’ll each receive your own Merry Manor Kit, plus I’ll be there to guide you through assembling it and offer a little crafty help along the way.

You organise your friends, choose a suitable date and provide the refreshments. I’ll bring the crafting know-how!

I’m particularly looking for small groups of around four or more people, so this could be a lovely idea for a Christmas get-together with friends, neighbours or your craft-loving family members.

And, of course, you don’t have to consider yourself crafty to join in!

Interested in arranging a gathering? Just get in touch with me and we can have a chat about the possibilities.

Prefer to Make Your Christmas House at Home?

Perhaps you’ve spotted this gorgeous kit on Pinterest and would simply love to make one yourself.

That’s absolutely fine too!

The Merry Manor Kit is available for £19 from my Stampin’ Up! online shop.

You can order a kit for yourself, or why not order a few and arrange your own Christmas crafting afternoon or evening?

The kit comes with instructions, so you can work through the project at your own pace. You’ll just need to make sure you’ve got the necessary crafting tools, including a suitable glue gun for assembly.

It’s a lovely way to enjoy some relaxing Christmas creativity without needing to plan a formal class.

A Handmade Christmas Is a Special Christmas

One of my favourite things about papercrafting is that we’re creating more than just pretty projects.

We’re making memories.

And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than spending a little time creating something lovely, perhaps sharing a laugh with friends, and then proudly displaying your finished Christmas house for everyone to enjoy?

Whether you fancy joining a little gathering, organising one yourself or simply buying the kit to make at home, I’d love to help you bring a little handmade Christmas magic into your home this year.
