I’m delighted to be joining you for the Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop again and to share this Masculine Sea View card.

We are a group of Demonstrators, led by Louise, seeking to learn, implement and improve our use of technology and online resources in our businesses.

The theme for this month’s hop is Holidays!

I have a holiday booked in a few weeks and I am heading upto the Lake District here in England. The cottage that we have booked is in a part of the Lakes that is situated between the mountains on one side and the sea on the other. I thought, therefore that I would reflect this in my card design for today.

My Masculine Sea View Card

This mountain Air Stamp Set is a reversible stamp, which means you can create a misty outline to your detailed mountain range. The small yacht from the Sailing Home stamp set was perfect for bringing in that touch of the sea.

Instructions for Masculine Sea View Card

• Fold the Card base along the score line.
• On the Basic White mat, stamp the background mountains in Smoky Slate that has been stamped off. The detailed mountains are in Highland Heather. the tree stamp was added using Evening Evergreen. For the sand, the same tree stamp is used but the trees were masked off with tape when inking up with Sahara Sand ink. Make sure to remove the tape before stamping. Turn the stamp around and repeat.
• I used a Blender pen and added some shading to the sand and grass areas.
• The sea was created by tearing strips of Basic White card and adding pacific point ink with a blending brush. pacific Point was also blended softly onto the sky above the mountains.
• I stamped and die cut the small yacht from the Sailing Home set and added a bit of colour with a Bermuda Bay watercolor pencil
• One of the wavy strips was stuck down flat on the card front and the other was raised with dimensionals.
• The greeting from the Timeless tropics stamp Set seemed very appropriate for a holiday themed card. This was stamped onto Basic White card and backed with Black.
• The stamped mat was backed with a Basic Black mat and then stuck to the card front. Some blue sequins from the Artistry Blooms pack were added and some Black and White twine wrapped around the spine.
• Another yacht was stamped onto the insert, before sticking that inside the card.
