Nativity Scene Christmas Card

This Nativity scene Christmas card has been created for this month’s Stampin’ for Christmas blog hop.

This blog hop happens all year round and encourages us to create our Christmas cards throughout the year too.

For this project I have used a new stamp set from the July – December mini catalogue.

Nativity Scene Christmas Card

This red rubber stamp stamps the solid image and leaves areas of white. The result is quite striking. I used Starry Sky ink to stamp onto Basic White cardstock. I cut around the edge of the image leaving a white border. This stamped piece had a piece of the Starry Sky metallic ribbon swirled across the back and was then added to a layer of printed vellum from the Lovely Layers Vellum pack. The next layer was a piece of silver striped paper from the Silver and Gold Designer Series paper pack. This paper is one of the Sale-a-Bration offerings that are currently available and you can claim this pack as a free gift with any order of £45.

These layers were stuck to a layer of Starry Sky and then to a Basic White card base. The sentiment was stamped onto some Basic White card in Starry Sky ink. The finishing touch to this card was some iridescent rhinestones.
