For this week’s new Festive Friday Challenge, I have created a project using paper piecing with patterned papers

Challenge #FF0093

This new challenge is celebrating Balloons Around The World Day and with that in mind we have come up with this list of inspiration for your paper crafting project

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge.  Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

My project used: purple, stripes, paper piecing, epoxy embellishments and twine

My Project

I used the Free As a Bird stamp set for my gold embossed image and my for my paper piecing I used the gorgeous Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper with its Gold foiling.

You will find a full list of the products I used at the bottom of the post.

Those birds are just beautiful paper-pieced in these papers Helen – your card is so unique and a great unusual way to showcase those papers. Great job!

Helen, this is one of my favourite SU sets. I’ve colored it many ways but had never considered paper piecing. Genius! I love your use of that gorgeous paper on the base of the card, too – it really helps to bring the colors from the base to the focal point. Fabulous card
