Today’s blog post is featuring a couple of quick & easy cards for men.
The theme for this month’s Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop is “For the Men”. We are a group of Demonstrators, led by Louise, seeking to learn, implement and improve our use of technology and online resources in our businesses.
Quick & Easy Cards For Men
I decided to make the most of the “He’s the Man” Specialty Designer Series papers to create my card. As well as the eclectic range of images and useful patterns, the paper pack also includes two sheets of pop out pieces to give you images, tags and sentiments.
The Cards
This first card was inspired by my son-in-law, who is a firefighter. He has just had a promotion, so this seemed the perfect sentiment for a celebratory card.
I layered up some different papers, including one layer that was torn. The pop out torn note page creates the top layer. The pop out sentiment piece was stuck to a die cut label and some Early Espresso die cut pieces were placed in opposite corners. The banner pieces were cut from Designer Series Paper. To finish some pop out stars were added.
The inside of the card was decorated with some strips of DSP and a strip of stars.
The second card used the Split Card Texture Dies to create a Sahara Sand layer over the vintage car Designer Series Paper. The car, tools and sentiment are layered on a Cajun Craze die cut tag. Some Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots were added to finish.
